Ben Ross graduated from Florida State University and received his Associate in Claims designation in 2001.
In 2008 Nomad hired Mr. Ross as Claims Manager, where he helps train adjusters to produce quality claims files that will fully satisfy our clients’ requirements. Now that NIS has been established, he will be a valuable asset utilizing his knowledge of system automation and policy language. He also markets NIS nationwide sharing his expertise with potential clients in an effort to secure additional contracts and maintain existing ones.
Richard Newton graduated from Ole Miss University in 1999. Immediately following, he received his adjuster’s license. Additionally, he has his Associate in Claims and an Associate in Service, and he is pursuing his CPCU designation.
In 2008, shortly after Hurricane Ike struck, Tim Molony recruited Mr. Newton to join Nomad Adjusting. He has been a core field adjuster, as well as a trainer for other lesser experienced adjusters nationwide. He travels for marketing across the country and handles many appraisals (escalated claim files) for several insurance carriers and defense firms. Mr. Newton will be integral in successfully maintaining any contract and ensuring our clients’ policyholders will be well taken care of.

Brian DeCicco graduated from Eureka College in 1999 and soon joined State Farm in 1999 in Jacksonville, FL, where he was quickly chosen to become an agent in Connecticut.
During the 2004 Hurricane Season, he decided to concentrate on the independent-side of insurance and quickly became the point-of-contact for the Liberty Mutual account. During the 2005 Hurricane Season, he joined CITIZENS Property Insurance Corporation as designated Quality Assurance Supervisor and Dispatch Coordinator/Vendor Liaison. During that time, Mr. DeCicco worked with the IT Department to improve the dispatch function in CTS, the claims management system presently used. This improvement allowed CITIZENS to dispatch over 180,000 claims during 2005 without incident.
As Quality Assurance Manager, Brian DeCicco oversees all file reviewers, ensuring consistency and best claims practices among all adjusters. His skills ensure that all vendors are conducting thorough investigations, understanding the applicable policy forms and endorsements, and submitting accurate estimates.
