Tim Molony graduated from Louisiana State University in 1992. He received his Associate in Claims in 1996.

Immediately following, he began his adjusting career at State Farm Insurance. After working through the ranks on the auto and property sides over the course of 10 years, he became an independent adjuster with an emphasis primarily in handling total loss claims. In 2005, Mr. Molony accepted a job with Catastrophe Operations at CITIZENS Property Insurance Corporation in Florida. One of his proudest accomplishments included helping to reduce the DFS complaint ratio from 10% in 2004 to 1.3% in 2005. Additionally, he worked with the IT Department to construct CTS, CITIZENS’ Claims Tracking System.   In 2006, Tim Molony began Nomad Adjusting, LLC. His knowledge and experience in claims operations make him an excellent consultant and liaison who can assist our clients in both daily and catastrophe claims administration.  In an effort to expand the scope of our work, Mr. Molony founded NIS in 2014.  Now his diverse insurance experience can be applied to new areas of the claims administration.

Ben Ross

Ben Ross

Claims Manager

Ben Ross graduated from Florida State University and received his Associate in Claims designation in 2001.

He holds a Xactimate Level 2 Certification and is pursuing his CPCU designation. He began his insurance career in 1999 with State Farm Insurance. He held several positions before transitioning to an independent adjuster in 2005 and assigned to CITIZENS Property Insurance Corporation, where he served as a Team Lead Supervisor and Appraisal Examiner. He was hired by CITIZENS in 2007. His largest accomplishments include developing standardized claim practices, co-writing the CITIZENS Claims Guide, and helping to create a catastrophe orientation training package.

In 2008 Nomad hired Mr. Ross as Claims Manager, where he helps train adjusters to produce quality claims files that will fully satisfy our clients’ requirements. Now that NIS has been established, he will be a valuable asset utilizing his knowledge of system automation and policy language.  He also markets NIS nationwide sharing his expertise with potential clients in an effort to secure additional contracts and maintain existing ones.

Richard Newton

Richard Newton

Training Manager/Marketing

Richard Newton graduated from Ole Miss University in 1999. Immediately following, he received his adjuster’s license. Additionally, he has his Associate in Claims and an Associate in Service, and he is pursuing his CPCU designation.

He began his claims handling carrier with large international independent adjusting firm and worked catastrophe claims for four years. In an effort to stay closer to home, Mr. Newton took a position with Insurance Service Offices and conducted commercial underwriting inspections. From there, he transitioned to another IA firm where he became a Team Manager overseeing adjusters in Florida, Louisiana, and Texas. He also worked within the Quality Assurance Department of CITIZENS Property Insurance Corporation in 2005-2006. Mr. Newton then took a Senior Field Representative position with Foremost Insurance Company so that he could again work locally. He was quickly chosen to join Farmers Large Loss Program.

 

 

 

In 2008, shortly after Hurricane Ike struck, Tim Molony recruited Mr. Newton to join Nomad Adjusting. He has been a core field adjuster, as well as a trainer for other lesser experienced adjusters nationwide. He travels for marketing across the country and handles many appraisals (escalated claim files) for several insurance carriers and defense firms. Mr. Newton will be integral in successfully maintaining any contract and ensuring our clients’ policyholders will be well taken care of.

Sean Dunn

Sean Dunn

Vice President & General Counsel

Sean Dunn graduated from Louisiana State University in 1993 and from Louisiana State University Law School in 1997.

Mr. Dunn has extensive legal, corporate governance and leadership experience. He is an experienced corporate and litigation counsel with robust experience managing large legal departments supporting worldwide operations.   He served in the United States Marine Corps for over 26 years including serving as an Infantry Officer in combat operations in Iraq. He also served as a Marine Corps Judge Advocate as a prosecutor, defense counsel and executive level legal advisor. His significant accomplishments as a Marine Corps lawyer include rebuilding the criminal justice system for a province of 1.5 million people in Iraq and successfully prosecuting the largest Espionage Act conspiracy ever prosecuted by the Department of the Navy. Mr. Dunn has extensive first chair trial experience in complex civil and criminal litigation. In addition to his complex military litigation experience, Mr. Dunn has been insurance defense counsel in admiralty/maritime claims, 18-wheeler accidents, professional liability claims, construction defect and property and casualty claims including hurricane, flood and fire losses. He has also served as corporate and business law counsel for numerous businesses in Texas and California. His business law clients have included companies in the insurance service, semi-conductor design, winery, equine and manufacturing industries. Mr. Dunn is licensed to practice law in Louisiana, California and Texas.

Ashley Molony

Administration Operations Manager

Ashley Molony studied at the University of Houston Clear Lake and has been a leader in her profession for nearly 15 years.  She managed a family-owned small business in the Interior Design field for over five years.

She was groomed to own this successful hometown establishment that has been around for over 30 years. She handled all aspects of the business, from hiring to purchasing to payroll to customer service. She compiled all monthly and quarterly Federal and State returns for the business. She was a member of her area Rotary Club and participated in many fundraising efforts in her community. In 2003, she decided to switch gears and focus her attentions to the insurance industry. Mrs. Molony accepted a job as Office Manager/Human Resources Manager for Nomad Adjusting, LLC. She is the Secretary/Treasurer of the LLC. She has been overseeing daily office operations for over ten years and is extremely meticulous at her job. She serves in similar capacity at NIS, where Mrs. Moloney provides conscientious professionalism to NIS’ office, insisting on accurate AP/AR and responsible reimbursements to our clients when warranted.

Brian DeCicco

Brian DeCicco

Claims Manager

Brian DeCicco graduated from Eureka College in 1999 and soon joined State Farm in 1999 in Jacksonville, FL, where he was quickly chosen to become an agent in Connecticut.

At 24, Mr. DeCicco gained the distinction of becoming the youngest State Farm agent ever.

 

During the 2004 Hurricane Season, he decided to concentrate on the independent-side of insurance and quickly became the point-of-contact for the Liberty Mutual account. During the 2005 Hurricane Season, he joined CITIZENS Property Insurance Corporation as designated Quality Assurance Supervisor and Dispatch Coordinator/Vendor Liaison. During that time, Mr. DeCicco worked with the IT Department to improve the dispatch function in CTS, the claims management system presently used. This improvement allowed CITIZENS to dispatch over 180,000 claims during 2005 without incident.

As Quality Assurance Manager, Brian DeCicco oversees all file reviewers, ensuring consistency and best claims practices among all adjusters. His skills ensure that all vendors are conducting thorough investigations, understanding the applicable policy forms and endorsements, and submitting accurate estimates.

Mary Bramley

Mary Bramley

Customer Relations Manager

Mary Bramley graduated from Brevard College in 2004 and is currently pursuing her MBA with a concentration in Marketing at Kaplan University.

She acquired her adjuster’s license in 2006. In 2004, she began working at Great American Insurance in the Underwriting Department. She transitioned to CITIZENS Property Insurance Corporation in 2005 as the Catastrophe Operations Quality Assurance Administrator. She worked directly with the QA Manager in developing CITIZENS’ Catastrophe Plan. She then became the Office Manager for Sonitrol Security and handled AR/AP, payroll, and marketing. In the spring of 2008, Mrs. Bramley came to work for Nomad. She has worked in-office for insurance carriers creating reports and answering to the Claims Manager. With the founding of NIS, she became Customer Relations Manager with her duties including Agency POC, CSR training and oversight, and nationally marketing NIS.
